AMA Recap Crypto Library with Hypersign

On 27th July 2021, Hypersign conducted an AMA in the Crypto Library Community. Our guest is Vikram Bushan and Irfan Khan. Lots of questions as usual from the Community about Hypersign  progress. The Hypersign team took part in a very interesting AMA session which included introductions, questions from twitter, and a live AMA session with the Crypto Library community. If you missed the AMA in person, read this recap for a deeper insight into Hypersign.

Let’s take a look at the most interesting points of our conversation.

INTRODUCTION
Crypto Library Team : So, before we start the AMA could you please introduce yourself to our community?

Vikram Bushan (Hypersign) : Vikram, is a full stack engineer and frontend architect. He has nearly 8 years of Experience in building applications, especially in the Payment and security. his last role was Engineering Lead for a small Agile team in Europe and India.

Irfan Khan (Hypersign) : I’m Irfan – I manage the business and strategy for Hypersign. I have been working in the Identity and Security space for more than 10 years, I have worked with many governments and Telecom Regulatory Authorities across the globe to build security infrastructure for large government and identity projects. I have been in the crypto space since 2012, where I had used to have 13 bitcoin and lost them on an online wallet because I trusted the CEO of the online web wallet and they stole my BTC and disappeared, since then I have promised myself to help reduce fraud and scams and i hope to achieve this using Hypersign. We have been building this now finally are ready to launch to our users.

Vishwas our other cofounder is unable to join us today as hes involved in some server migration, but we will represent him, @hermit_taken manages R&D @Hypermine. He comes from a research background which revolves around cryptography, blockchain and security. he got into blockchain post demonetization [when the indian government declared all 500 and 1000 currency notes as useless] in India somewhere around 2016 – 2017. The demonetization really affected him and made him think that “Why the cash that I hold in my hand is not really mine?” And that's when he came to know about Bitcoin and the concept of decentralization which literally blew his mind.
FIRST SEGMENT (HOST)
Crypto Library Team : What is BSCLaunch? and what features and products does BSCLaunch want to offer us?

Irfan Khan (Hypersign) : In short Hypersign is an Identity management protocol which lets users not only login to websites/mobile apps without using passwords but also give users the opportunity to control their data as they want. We literally want to empower users to control their own data and end data silos where large amounts of user data is collected and eventually gets hacked. We are basically creating a system where users like you and me will be able to have full control over our personal data and if anyone wants to access or see our personal information they will have to take permission from us to access our personal data. In other words, you will never have to fill out another application form again, nor will KYC ever again. If you go to a bank and apply for a loan, they will ping you on your hypersign APP and ask you for your information and you will just click OK and they will be able to verify you WITHOUT revealing your personal information to them, basically the bank will know its you, without knowing your name and address and phone number. I am giving you a slightly extreme example, but that is where we want to be. In the future, there will be no phone numbers, you will be able to CALL people without dialing any numbers, or through any chat app, you will connect with people directly, without knowing any of their personal information.

Crypto Library Team : Could you give us some reason Why we have to choose BSCLaunch than other projects out there?

Irfan Khan (Hypersign) : Hypersign is for businesses, crypto projetcs & investors, all kinds of users. Once you register with Hypersign, your personal data is encrypted with your private key and the key remains with you. The personal data is in essentially only accssible to the owner of the data and the owner is the one who will allow others to access this data. over a certain period of time. As you know, password is the weakest link, all global major data hacks, leaks and breaches are caused due to passwords, either users will write password on POST IT NOTE paper and stick on monitor, or even share passwords in email and chat, and this is the main cause for the password leak and eventually get hacked. we replace passwords with Public Key Encryption making ir safer for everyone to access webitses and applicartions and not neededing useranmes and passwirds any more. Adding on top of it. We indeed feel that in order to bring blockchain to everyone, the centralised and decntralised systems have to work together. which is why we are trying to bridge the gap between centralised and decentralised authentication systems by building adapters. For example we are working on plugins which can bring all wordpress users to blockchain and make them avail our decentralized passwordless authentication is that most companies don’t integrate DATA PROTECTION and STRONG Authentication in their ecosystem. they use traditional database for verifying their users, over a period time the iusers increase and the data base also becomes bigger and they store USER NAME, PASSWORD maybe Phone number and other personal details, as the database grows, it becomes attractive to hackers, and eventually gets hacked.

Crypto Library Team : Please tell us about $BSL token! What are the token use-case, distribution, and where we can buy it?

Vikram Bushan (Hypersign) : Currently $HID is traded on Uniswap. and soon to be launched on other exchanges as well.
Irfan Khan (Hypersign) : Sure, I would like to share some links with you. you can find al the information here:
Crypto Library Team : Please share some information about your roadmap, your recent progress, and your future plans?

Irfan Khan (Hypersign) : We are working on multiple products:
  1. The hypersign Authenticaiton and Verification Service
  2. The DID regitrsy
  3. Our White listing product which helps IDOs and investors by eliminating botes and malicius hackers from participating and stealing allocation in IDO
Hypersign network It will be launched in 3 stages:
  • Stage 1 : Centralize version of the DID registry with Authentication and Authorization sdk.
  • Stage 2 : DID registry on existing L1’s ( We have partnered with 3 so far , AE, ONT, Harmony )
  • Stage 3 : Layer 2 network
We are finishing Stage 1 and we have a working model available for the community to try and also some looking for [Beta] testing with enterprise customers. We are also launching a whitelisting solution based on Stage 1 to prove our tech works and can help Crypto Investors. Stage 2 is expected to be finished this year and stage 3 we expect to start in Feb/ march next year.

Vikram Bushan (Hypersign) : Here is the link to our product. We will have airdrops to 1st 1000 users on our whitelist solutiont.
SECOND SEGMENT (TWITTER)
Crypto Library Team : $HID is the Native Token of Hypersign. Can you explain what are the Main Uses & Advantages of Holding $HID Tokens? What types of Services does Hypersign offer to Hypersign Holders?

Irfan Khan (Hypersign) : As mentioned earlier, please do go through this link:
Crypto Library Team : Hypersing has a feature called "Two-way authentication". Can you tell us about this protocol and what exactly does it consist of? Why did you decide to develop it and how has it helped you to improve your security model? Do you have any other features unique to Hypersing?

Irfan Khan (Hypersign) : so this is one of the Key features of Hypersign. On hypersign network, it is not just the service providers (or apps) who verifies the user, the user also has the ability to verify the service provider before sharing the data with them. We call it “Two-Way authentication”. This will help to reduce the phishing attacks and fake webistes to great extent.
THIRD SEGMENT (LIVE QUESTIONS)
Crypto Library Team : Your service deserves appreciation because Hypersign protects user data. But who will protect user data from Hypersign itself? can we know how Hypersign treats user data?

Irfan Khan (Hypersign) : The personal data of the users is encrypted with the private key and remains with the users, no one can acess that data unless the owner of the data gives OK.

Crypto Library Team : I noticed in your Twitter page about staking program of $HID. It's hilarious and mind blowing(APY). Does $HID have any token buy back/burn system? which increases the token value. What is important for you at this moment?  Increasing token value? Spreading community?

Vikram Bushan (Hypersign) : As you can see APY that we have provided is standard. Most of the projects are providing similar APY initially. What we will do is we will suerly look into Buyback and burn scheme. But at this point we are more focused on Distributing the tokens. Increase community outreach.

Crypto Library Team : Does your project have potential, why? What is your opinion? I can differentiate your project from another project, for what reason?

Irfan Khan (Hypersign) : We come from an industry known as IAM [Identity and Access Management] . This is a 20+ year old industry that is worth 25B USD. It is very different from KYC, as we do not deal with legal documentation. We are mainly focused on security issues related to data exchange and endpoint point security such as user login, authentication, verification, authorization which is based on Public Key Encryption/Infrastructure. This is what makes us different. What makes us similar to Litentry and KILT is that we are all building DID Infrastructure, but what makes is DIFFERENT is that we are hitting the core of Access Management with our solution.

Crypto Library Team : I care deeply about personal privacy, personal and organizational security, and the decentralization and sharing of power. What are your goals and motivations for taking on anonymity with transparency in general specifically as your project priority?

Vikram Bushan (Hypersign) : So we personally belive that identity should be private to each user. When they try to login to different Apps they should not give away all the information. So our motivation honestly is to start small such as password and authentication problem. And try to add privacy into it , then slolwy improvise to something like kYC.

Crypto Library Team : I want to Buy your $HID tokens Right Now, Is there an agreement to buy tokens? How can I Contact with you?

Irfan Khan (Hypersign) : You can buy $HID on UNISWAP.
