AMA Recap Crypto Library with BeGlobal

On 08th September 2021, BeGlobal conducted an AMA in the Crypto Library Community. Our guest is Samuel Jimenez Diaz. Lots of questions as usual from the Community about BeGlobal progress. The BeGlobal team took part in a very interesting AMA session which included introductions, questions from twitter, and a live AMA session with the Crypto Library community. If you missed the AMA in person, read this recap for a deeper insight into BeGlobal.

Let’s take a look at the most interesting points of our conversation.

Crypto Library Team : So, before we start the AMA could you please introduce yourself to our community?

Samuel (BeGlobal) : My name is Samuel Jiménez and I'm the founder of I have been a crypto enthusiast since 2013, even though I wasn't actively trading until recently (which is a shame, by the way!). I studied computer and electronical engineering, along with a few online courses of game theory, finance, gamification and so on. After a few years, I also studied an executive MBA. Regarding my career, just before finishing my first degree, I discovered online poker. I became an online poker player and played high stakes for a few years until I decided I wanted a change in my life. While I was a poker player, I coached top players, collaborated as an assessor/consultant for poker rooms and casinos, did my own initiatives like poker camp, and coded the best seating poker software available :) However and as I mentioned, in 2015 I decided to switch to the family business, which I ended up running 2-3 years ago as a general manager and I have been since. A few months ago, a poker friend called me and told me that cryptos had changed. There was no need to buy and hold anymore, now you could farm tokens. I was like... Uh, what is that? So he brought me in to DeFi and after a few months doing degen farming, I decided to design and create my own DeFi. And here we are
Crypto Library Team : What is BeGlobal? and how your team can create this project?

Samuel (BeGlobal) : BeGlobal was designed after seeing thousands of pancakeswap forks in BSC. I love DeFi and it exasperated me how no one was interested in improving it. It was all a quick buck, no development (merely changing some % of fee tax transfer or things like that), rugpulls and marketing (because, apparently, that’s all you need to become a top DEX, shilling like crazy… Sigh). I did a mental list of what I didn’t like and, without knowing it, I was shaping what BeGlobal was going to be. BeGlobal aims to be a place where all DeFi features are integrated and through one token. We have cheap trading fees in our AMM, auto-compound strategies, vested and locked vaults to increase APR, no deposit fees… And all run by a public team. I was tired of not apeing hard in some farms because of the high rugpull risk. If the legit ones had been public, I would definitely have aped more. We want to let people know who we are so they know their funds are SAFU. Also, we will launch once Certik audit is complete, not sooner (scheduled end of the month). But even more interesting for everyone is where we are headed. If you have some time, please read more here:
The team is integrated by professionals of the software sectorsmainly, with very well developed careers, leading universities after going through the startup business, managing international teams as data scientists, associate researchers, etc.

Crypto Library Team : What features and products does BeGlobal want to offer? And why should we choose BeGlobal?

Samuel (BeGlobal) : We start bringing different features together, which is already more than most –or all- DeFis in BSC:
  • AMM: like pancakeswap, but with almost half the fees, which are mainly used to burn our token.
  • Auto-compound with strategies: at the moment, you need to go to “Auto” for a simple autocompound or to “pancakebunny” to have a boost in the APR. We will integrate different auto-compounding strategies so users can choose what fits their needs best.
  • Vested and locked pools: to diminish selling pressure and to increase the APR greatly.
  • No deposit fees: in our opinion, this is a big mistake DeFis do. It’s like telling you in advance that you are not going to survive. We don’t need, and we don’t want, deposit fees. We will only have withdrawal to not allow others to game our system, but that’s it.
  • NFT governance (currently in development): we want to transfer governance to NFTs with different tiers to give more power and exclusivity to our users.
The question is, why wouldn’t you come to BeGlobal when we can offer you everything, better and cheaper from day 1 and knowing we will carry on developing and integrating even more. The only thing that could prevent someone from coming is trust. But that’s why we are public and we will have Certik. Otherwise, BeGlobal is the place to be.

Crypto Library Team : Please tell us about $GLOBAL token! What are the token use-case, distribution, and where we can buy it?

Samuel (BeGlobal) : One of the main concerns from many investors is if the token has some utility. Most farms use their token as a simple governance tool and it doesn't look like this is a big issue after all, as many in the space are successful. However, we understand this is not enough. That's why we have thought of different utilities for $GLOBAL:
  • You can stake $GLOBAL and earn other tokens. Those ones will come from the swapping fees as well as projects approaching us to distribute their token.
  • With $GLOBAL, we will transfer the governance to exclusive and unique NFTs. It means that $GLOBAL will be the way to achieve NFTs in our ecosystem. You won't be able to get those NFTs any other way. We plan to distribute the NFTs through staking $GLOBAL and doing snapshots during an extended period of time, rewarding investors commitment to the project.
  • We plan to carry on developing the NFT ecosystem as well. We are especially interested in the gamification and exclusivity that they can bring to investors. Alike governance, they will only be minted staking $GLOBAL for a period of time.
  • - If you check our roadmap, our plan is to integrate as many DeFi features as possible. We aim to use only one token for all the features: $GLOBAL. Everything we develop will use $GLOBAL when possible. Anything you might want to obtain in our ecosystem, will be through $GLOBAL. Furthermore, all fees to improve the ecosystem will be used burn $GLOBAL. Finally, and even if this is not 100% confirmed as of the time of the writing, we are in touch with a few gamification, monetization and game development experts. Depending on the team's capacity and at community's decision, we can allocate resources towards GameFi, where $GLOBAL will play a very important role.
The distribution is written here:
Which basically, summing up, says that we will have tokens vested for a long time and we will simply mint the tokens that will be sold on the presale. After that, we start at 400 tokens/block emission (which is around 40$/block) to quickly drop down to 30. Our plan is to have a low inflation coin.

And the whitelist and presale here:
Now, you have to register in the whitelist here: And after the period finished (22nd of September) we will select whose who can buy the pre-sale. They will be announced in our tg group( The whitelist has a 25% discount vs. the listing price. Shortly after and if certik audit has finished, we launch.

Crypto Library Team : Could you give us some information about your roadmap, your milestones, and also your future plans?

Samuel (BeGlobal) :  Roadmap is here: ROADMAP. And our future plans are our vision: VISION AND FUTURE. In a nutshell, we want to have everything available in DeFi in one place. Imagine all the dapps you use daily, integrated into one only. Now we are looking forward to the presale, with the intention to hire many more devs to start developing faster. First step will be to finish NFTs and then add leverage farming. From there, we will carry on adding more DAPPS. We also have a likely partnership in between, but that goes without saying
Crypto Library Team : BeGlobal has a good Developer team which ensures the fast development of various functions in the BeGlobal.Finance ecosystem. I want to know more about your team. Have there been significant challenges your team has faced in the past?

Samuel (BeGlobal) : Quite a bit. One of our members run a software startup (as CTO) for couple of years until he sold. Since then he has been managing a university. Another one is PhD and working as postdoc/associate researcher while he manages teams in England and France for a big company. I don’t need to highlight how skilled and how many problems a PhD faces every day. He also worked together with me in another software we created a few years back for the poker industry, until casinos stopped allowing it for giving an unfair advantage to players, it’s his way of life  He is the English data lead. We also have a very good web dev with years of experience in the field and a guy who has been in the marketing industry from poker rooms to casinos and to crypto now. He was the one designing the master plan for engaging with users, B2B and so on. And well, me, with experience across multiple fields (check my linkedin for further info). I always call myself a fireman, because I'm usually where problems are fixing them  In the poker industry when it changed completely after a big event, with competitors... ANd with my own business, where I run operacions and high management, I'm all day sorting problems. Basically, all of our members of the team have faced setbacks continuously along their careers because this is what we do for a living. We create and manage. And to do that, you are constantly facing new issues and looking for possible solutions. That’s what we are good at  We will be introducing our team members in our telegram soon, you can join here, and you can ask them further questions if you have.

Crypto Library Team : What security measures does Beglobal adopt against hacks and bugs in smart contracts? Has Beglobal been audited to make your smart contracts secure?

Samuel (BeGlobal) : We will launch once Certik audit has completed. That already gives quite a guarantee that everything is alright. The AMM is forked from pancake with less fees, so it’s as safe as pancake is. Regarding the optimizer, the main weak point is the flash loan attacks. We have added some code in our smart contract to prevent other smart contracts to interact with them. To not go into technical details, let’s just keep it simple: a flash loan attack, can’t be done by a persona manually. By definition, “flash” loan means that everything happens in one block, therefore, a program executing it is necessary. We have coded our smart contracts in a way that we do not allow smart contracts to deposit or withdraw assets, thus removing any possibility for a flash loan attack. For those more experienced in solidity, we have added a modifier to prevent SC to use our external functions. We are happy to go into more detail in our telegram, we are still on time for further improvements, even though we are well covered. The other smart contracts are referred to vested and locked vaults along with the distribution system of rewards we will have, and we are counting on Certik to review it properly. However, we have been testing the code for two weeks now and we are fully confident it’s working well. After seeing some exploits from the last months, I’m surprised some were even possible. Even the simplest tests would have failed. I suspect devs are not actual “devs”, more like people with basics. We have a long experience in software to prevent that and Certik on top of that.
Crypto Library Team : What is BeGlobal next most ambitious goal and what are the methods to follow to achieve it? What is your true purpose and what do you want to achieve in the world of cryptocurrencies? And last but not least, what is BeGlobal that other similar projects do not have and why should it be chosen by users and investors?

Samuel (BeGlobal) : Our purpose is that you won't have to go anywhere else when using DeFi. We will have it all. Any feature available now (or later) will be in BeGlobal. You can forget about looking for other stuff out there, you will already have us.

Crypto Library Team : Do you have Whitepaper if yes please share it with as secondly do you have plans for pre-sale? Now where can we Join it?

Samuel (BeGlobal) : We have all our documentation in our docs. Please take a look around. The presale is currently at the whitelist stage, the info is here. But I strongly suggest you to join our TG here.

Crypto Library Team : What is the tokenomics of your project ? & how can I buy your token?

Samuel (BeGlobal) : Right now, at the whitelist stage, please see answer above. Regarding the tokenomics, we are going to vest tokens for the team for a whole year. We have also allocated funds for investors in the future and they will only be available for bulk purchase as long as they agree to receive the tokens heavily vested and will be used to grow the operations team.

Crypto Library Team : Are you planning to promote your project in countries / regions where English is not good? Do you have a local community for them to better understand your project?

Samuel (BeGlobal) : We will create other communities shortly after launch. At the moment, is English focused to make sure all the information is publicly available and there are no misunderstandings. But it's definitely on our roadmap and we will happily open as many as possible.

Crypto Library Team : While you build your project, do you take into? account community feedbacks and demands?

Samuel (BeGlobal) : Yes, we always take feedback from investors. As a matter of fact, NFTs were not previously integrated into the project but after some discussions with investors, we decided to push it shortly after launch and we are already working on it. So yes, feebdack is very important for us :) That's why I strongly advise to join our telegram and ask us any questions you might have, as we will be able to answer you + receive your feedback directly. We are there 24/7.
